Comet Hyundai x Gorky Park

Supporting the cosmic style of the design of the Voskhod skating rink in Gorky Park, Hyundai presented the main interactive art object on the site - the futuristic Hyundai Comet, which has become a symbol of the expectation of a new decade.

Project
In winter 2019-2020 in freelance cooperation with the event agency Stereotactic I worked as creative lead and creative producer for Hyundai vehicle brand. The main task was to integrate the brand to the largest Moscow central ice rink.

The "Comet" in Gorky Park is an installation consisting of two parts: "core" and "tail", which were located on the ice and the central square of the park. One part was made in the form of an unusual tunnel filled with the energy of cosmic light. Comet Encke, which became the prototype of the installation, according to the calculations of astronomers, will approach our planet by 500 minutes. In honor of this fact, every 500th guest passing through the installation tunnel at the skating rink launched a vibrant audiovisual show. It began with the sounds of a car engine – this is an audio signal with an encrypted New Year's greeting from all the inhabitants of the Earth.

The “tail” of the Hyundai comet will be located on the central square of Gorky Park. It was a recreation area with a heated bench and an interactive photo installation. With its help, all guests could take winter photos in the style of Hyundai, which were shown on the surface of the "nucleus" of the comet on the ice rink.
