Horsemen of the Apocalypse

This painting is the rework of Albrecht Durer’s engraving “The four horsemen of the Apocalypse”. The stretched canvas painting is complemented by a thick panel of transparent plexiglass in size with silhouettes of four people standing in chi gung Horsemen position. The colors in which they are painted refer to the song “The Four Horsemen” of the Greek psychedelic rock band Aphrodite’s Child.

The leading horse is white,
The second horse is red,
The third one is a black,
The last one is a green.
